Goldridge are a newer apricot variety developed in Washington State, that produces very large fruit, and are very good eaten fresh. Large, round and very attractive, Goldridge are very good canned, and in recipes like apricot muffins, apricot pie and apricot jam.

Tomcots

One of the best tasting varieties grown. Tomcots are large, orange with red blush, and have sweet flesh with a slightly tart, old-time apricot flavour. Tomcots are great in recipes like apricot muffins, apricot jam, and are Ma Lutz’s favourite choice for Apricot Pies, made fresh at Granny’s Fruit Stand in Summerland!

Gold Strike

Gold Strike is an older apricot variety that produces very large fruit, and are very good eaten fresh. A large, round, orange, and very attractive apricot, Gold Strike apricots ship very well. They are very good canned, and in recipes like apricot muffins, apricot filled cookies, apricot pound cake and in dried apricot recipes.

Perfection

Perfections are large and firm, with bright orange colouring and when ripened are sweet and tangy in flavour.

Sundrop

Sundrop is a yellow-orange apricot all the way round, with slight blushing. This dainty (bite sized) piece of fruit has a lovely soft almost fuzzy feel to it, with very light 'hair'. The Sundrop is one of the sweeter varieties of apricots and is great for a small snack for the kids.

Tilton

Tilton apricots, a longtime favourite, are very unique and one of the most flavourful of apricots. They are slightly flatter with a suture line that goes halfway around the apricot. This variety is juicy and tender with a sweet-tart flavor.
